Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut (2016 Release)

Every year the team at Black Forest Distillers select a different rare botanical ingredient to add to the already glorious Monkey 47 recipe.

This year they have chosen local 'Fir Honey' - a notably tangy variety of honey which is produced by bees buzzing around the Silver Fir trees in the Black Forest.

The honey was added to the macerate of the 47 'traditional' ingredients and then distilled again in a second extraction procedure, left to mature for three months in earthenware containers, and finally combined with soft, local spring water.

A limited edition of 4,000 bottles.
