Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut (2017 Release)

Every year the team at Black Forest Distillers select a different rare botanical to add to their already glorious Monkey 47 recipe.

This year they have chosen Achillea Moschata (Musk Yarrow), a white flowering plant known colloquially in its native Switzerland as Iva, used for centuries as a traditional cure for indigestion.

In a complex and extensive process, the flowers and leaves of musk yarrow were added to the macerate of the 47 “traditional” ingredients of Monkey 47. They were then distilled again in a second extraction procedure, left to mature for three months in earthenware containers, and finally combined with soft, local spring water.
