The Macallan 52 Years Old is an extraordinary spirit that delivers a sublime balance, achieved as a result of time and dedication to allow maturation for over five decades.

Notes from the producer:
Rich cherry and dark chocolate burst open and are accompanied with layers of antique oak to provide a perfectly balanced spirit. Wisps of floral orange blossom combine with delicate layers of peat smoke. Upon taste the rich fruit overlays the hint of dark chocolate fondant, with wisps of peat smoke that unite to greet cinnamon and ginger from the wood spices. The single malt builds to a dramatic long finish with notes of sweet oak, cherry and blackcurrant mellowing out to a floral and lightly peated close.

A limited edition of 250 bottles released from 2018 onwards.
