1971 Macallan G&M Speymalt (bottled 2009)

Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail are independent bottlers of the highest order and for a long time were one of the official bottlers of Macallan single malt. They remain to this day one of the most reliable and extensive sources of vintage Macallan outside the distillery itself.

G&M Speymalt is a long running series of vintage Macallan bottlings going all the way back to 1938. This edition of Speymalt was distilled in 1971 and matured in sherry casks for around 38 years before being bottled in 2009.
