1996 Sutherland 24 Year Old Single Cask Thompson Bros (Clynelish)

Based at Dornoch Castle, the Thompson Brothers are fast building a reputation for their no-nonsense approach to bottling Scotch Whisky. While the rest of the industry is busy creating ever more elaborate and fancy packaging for whisky of an often unknown age or character, Thompson Bros are keeping it simple by bottling one cask at a time with clear age statements. Back labels are deemed overkill and the front labels are adorned with some of the best whisky inspired artwork to be found anywhere.
