1989 Bowmore 24 Year Old Feis Ile 2014

An uber limited cask strength 24 year old Bowmore from first fill American Oak and French Oak wine casks.

"Breathe in juicy nectarine and figs, smooth vanilla cream, salted honeycomb and hints of ripe berry fruits. Sip mature red berries and cream, luscious peaches and hints of pine nuts balanced by a subtle sea-salt tang. Savour delicious hints of coconut cream, berries and mellow milk chocolate."

This bottle was only available to buy at the distillery on their annual open day during the 2014 Feis Ile whisky festival on Islay. With only 300 bottles available, the queue formed outside the day before it was due to go on sale and hopefuls were each issued with a golden ticket guaranteeing them the chance to buy a bottle.  This allowed them to still enjoy the festival rather than wait in the queue all day - a nice touch.

Presented in an engraved solid wood gift box which includes an individually numbered and hand signed certificate of authenticity.
